Holy Spirit Ascension
Privacy & Your Data

Privacy Policy

Effective September 29, 2026

Holy Spirit Ascension ("HSA") is operated by My Crown of Grace Publishing LLC. This Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, used, stored, and disclosed when you visit Holy Spirit Ascension, create an account, participate in formation programs, use HSA tools, or purchase a membership.

Personal reflection, prayer, and spiritual formation deserve to be treated with care. This policy is intended to explain plainly what information may be associated with your account and why it is used.

1. Information We Collect

The information collected depends upon how you use Holy Spirit Ascension.

Account Information

When you create or use an HSA account, information associated with your account may include:

  • your email address;
  • a unique account identifier;
  • authentication and account-status information;
  • membership status;
  • program access and completion information; and
  • other information necessary to maintain and provide your account.

HSA uses Firebase Authentication and related Firebase services provided by Google to support authentication, account access, application infrastructure, and data storage.

Content You Choose to Create

HSA contains tools that allow you to create and save personal content. Depending upon the features you use, this may include:

  • journal entries;
  • prayers and saved prayer content;
  • responses to formation or journal prompts;
  • prophetic pattern studies;
  • historical or calendar research saved through HSA tools;
  • program progress and completion records; and
  • other information you voluntarily enter into HSA tools.

The nature of spiritual formation means that information you voluntarily write may sometimes contain personal, emotional, religious, health-related, or otherwise sensitive information. You decide what you write and are encouraged to use discretion when entering highly sensitive information.

Membership and Transaction Information

If you purchase a paid HSA membership, information related to your subscription may include membership status, subscription status, transaction or billing-related identifiers, and dates associated with the beginning, renewal, cancellation, or expiration of membership.

Payment processing may be provided by Stripe. Payment-card information submitted through Stripe is processed through Stripe's systems. HSA does not need to store your complete payment-card number in its Firestore database in order to administer membership.

2. How We Use Information

Information collected through Holy Spirit Ascension may be used to:

  • create and maintain user accounts;
  • authenticate users;
  • provide free and paid features;
  • determine membership access;
  • save journals, prayers, studies, and other content at your direction;
  • track formation-program progress;
  • preserve eligible archives;
  • administer subscriptions and membership;
  • respond to account or support requests;
  • maintain the security and operation of HSA;
  • diagnose technical problems;
  • prevent misuse or unauthorized access; and
  • comply with applicable legal obligations.

Personal content entered into HSA formation tools is collected so those tools can function. HSA does not claim ownership of your personal journal entries, prayers, or personal studies merely because you store them through the service.

3. Spiritual and Sensitive Information

Holy Spirit Ascension is a spiritual formation platform. Information users voluntarily enter may reveal religious beliefs, prayer concerns, personal experiences, relationships, emotional experiences, dreams, perceived spiritual experiences, health concerns, or other private matters.

You are not required to record every experience or answer every journal prompt. You control what personal information you choose to place in your entries.

HSA is not designed to serve as a medical record, psychotherapy record, emergency service, or repository for information that must be maintained under specialized professional confidentiality requirements.

Please do not use HSA to store passwords, Social Security numbers, complete payment-card information, government identification numbers, or other information unnecessary to your use of the service.

4. Our Privacy Commitment

Your spiritual life is not advertising data.

Holy Spirit Ascension does not sell personal information, use private spiritual content to create advertising profiles, or use journal entries, prayers, or personal studies to determine what outside products or services should be marketed to you.

HSA does not use Google Analytics for visitor profiling, does not use third-party advertising cookies, and does not sell, rent, or provide personal information to advertisers or data brokers for targeted advertising.

Information collected through HSA is intended to operate and provide Holy Spirit Ascension and the related services of My Crown of Grace Publishing LLC.

5. My Crown of Grace Publishing LLC Resources

Holy Spirit Ascension is operated by My Crown of Grace Publishing LLC. HSA may provide information about books, programs, applications, educational resources, or other services created or published by My Crown of Grace Publishing LLC when they are relevant to the purpose of the platform.

Providing information about our own resources does not mean that private HSA content is sold or disclosed to outside advertisers. Private journal entries, prayers, spiritual studies, and similar personal content are not used to determine which products should be marketed to an individual user.

6. Service Providers

Google Firebase

Holy Spirit Ascension uses Firebase services provided by Google, including services used for authentication, hosting, database functionality, and application infrastructure.

Information necessary to provide these functions may therefore be processed through Google or Firebase systems in accordance with their applicable terms and privacy practices.

Stripe

HSA may use Stripe to process membership payments and administer subscription-related functions. Stripe may collect and process payment and transaction information according to its own privacy practices and legal obligations.

HSA may receive information from Stripe necessary to determine payment and membership status without receiving or storing your complete payment-card number.

7. When Information May Be Disclosed

We do not disclose personal information simply because it is stored in an HSA account.

Information may be disclosed when reasonably necessary:

  • to service providers performing functions necessary to operate HSA;
  • to process or administer membership transactions;
  • to protect the security, rights, or integrity of HSA, its users, or others;
  • to investigate fraud, abuse, or unauthorized activity;
  • to comply with applicable law, court orders, subpoenas, or lawful governmental requests;
  • in connection with a business reorganization, merger, acquisition, sale, or transfer, subject to applicable law; or
  • when you direct or authorize the disclosure.

Holy Spirit Ascension does not sell personal information. We do not sell, rent, or provide personal journal entries, prayers, spiritual studies, account activity, or other personal information to advertisers, data brokers, or third parties for targeted advertising.

8. Account Access and Security

HSA uses authentication and access controls intended to restrict account content to authorized users.

No internet service or method of electronic storage can guarantee absolute security. Users are responsible for protecting their account credentials, using a secure password, and preventing unauthorized access to devices through which they access HSA.

If you believe someone has gained unauthorized access to your account, please contact HSA promptly and change any affected credentials.

9. Membership Cancellation

Canceling a paid membership and deleting an HSA account are different actions.

When a paid membership is canceled, access to paid membership features may continue through the end of the applicable paid access period.

After paid access ends, HSA may preserve eligible personal archives associated with the account, including supported journal, prayer, and pattern-study archives, while restricting the ability to create, edit, or delete content through paid-member tools.

Cancellation of a membership does not, by itself, request deletion of the HSA account or its stored content.

10. Account and Data Deletion

Users may request deletion of their HSA account and HSA-stored personal content through account features made available for that purpose or by contacting HSA for assistance.

Account deletion is different from membership cancellation.

When an account-deletion request is completed, HSA will take reasonable steps to delete personal account content under its control, subject to information that must or may be retained for legitimate legal, security, fraud-prevention, transaction, dispute-resolution, or regulatory purposes.

Third-party providers may independently retain certain records when required or permitted by law. For example, a payment processor may maintain transaction or financial records according to its own legal obligations and retention policies.

11. Data Retention

We seek to retain personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, to provide requested services, preserve an account while it remains open, fulfill legitimate operational needs, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and comply with applicable legal obligations.

User-created archives may remain associated with an open account after paid membership ends so former members can retain permitted read access.

If HSA introduces specific retention periods for particular features, this policy may be updated to describe them.

12. Cookies, Authentication, and Browser Storage

Holy Spirit Ascension does not use advertising cookies or third-party advertising trackers and does not use Google Analytics to profile visitors.

HSA and the technology providers necessary to operate the service may use cookies, browser storage, authentication tokens, or similar technologies when required to sign users in, maintain account sessions, preserve settings, protect security, process membership access, or provide website functionality.

These technologies are used to operate HSA rather than to create advertising profiles or serve targeted advertising.

If the technologies used by HSA materially change, this Privacy Policy will be updated to accurately describe those changes.

13. Children's Privacy

Holy Spirit Ascension accounts are intended for individuals who are at least 13 years of age. HSA is not intended for children under 13.

We do not knowingly collect personal information through HSA accounts from children under 13. If we learn that an account belongs to a child under 13 and personal information has been collected without legally required authorization, we will take appropriate steps consistent with applicable law.

A parent or guardian who believes a child under 13 has provided personal information through HSA may contact us at support@holyspiritascension.com.

14. Your Choices

Depending upon the features available to your account and applicable law, you may be able to:

  • review account information;
  • update certain account information;
  • reset account credentials;
  • access saved content;
  • cancel a paid membership;
  • request account deletion; and
  • contact HSA with questions concerning personal information associated with your account.

Additional privacy rights may apply depending upon where you live.

15. Third-Party Websites and Services

Holy Spirit Ascension may contain links to websites, resources, payment services, or other services operated by third parties.

Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies. HSA is not responsible for the privacy practices of independently operated third-party websites or services.

16. Changes to This Privacy Policy

Holy Spirit Ascension may update this Privacy Policy as the service changes, new features are introduced, service providers change, or legal requirements evolve.

When the policy is updated, the effective date at the beginning of the policy will be revised. When appropriate, additional notice may be provided for material changes.
